Hi Sean,
Right off the bat, I would like to say that you have done a good job with the combined brand logo, as I was able to recognize that it was a cross between Harry Potter and Nike from the moment I saw it. I like how you took the theme that Nike has for all of their products and incorporated it with Harry Potter. It was smart to make his glasses white, while the rest of his body remained a silhouette, as his glasses are a signature component to his look. Without this particular aspect, it may have been difficult to tell what you were going for, so good job. I also like the simplicity of it, as it clearly shows the meaning of the brand, while not being dull and boring. If I was to add anything to improve the logo, I would maybe add some detail to the wand, as Harry Potter has an iconic style and true fans would be able to pick up on that and appreciate it. Furthermore, just as you used the glasses to represent him in white, you could have also potentially recreated the scar on his forehead in white to further show that it is Harry Potter and not a random wizard. This may also a little unclear due to the stars coming out of his wand, as Harry Potter does not produce anything when he casts a spell, which can once again trick people into thinking it is simply a wizard. All in all, I have really enjoyed your logo and believe you have done an amazing job!
I think you’ve done a really great job of making this logo. It is very obvious to me that you are combining Nike with Harry Potter, as both brands are distinctly apparent. The use of the Nike tick as a broomstick has been implemented really well here, especially since you didn’t alter the design at all. This makes it readily identifiable and clear to tell what brand is being displayed here. The design of Harry Potter has also been meshed into the logo really well, the glasses and wand in particular made it very distinguishable. The colours have also been used really well, the fact that the whole design is in black has made it stand out and draws focus towards the details of the image.
The only improvement that I can think of is finding a way to incorporate Harry’s scar into the image. I think that it is the key distinguishing part of Harry Potter apart from the glasses, and its inclusion would have made it incredibly clear that it is referring to Harry Potter. Apart from that, this is a great logo, good job!
You did a great job of this logo design, I really enjoy your idea of Harry Potter in Nike logo. I can see that you are a sporty person and fiction buff. If this is a new sporty brand, I will definitely try, because when I wear this brand I might have Harry’s magic power. It’s a fantastic marketing idea which is targeting both Fiction and sport fan in same time.
There is only one improvement of your logo that you can create a slogan below your logo. It will make brand positioning clearer and more stronger.
Apart from that I really like your design, I look forward to seeing more of your work.
